In his own words

“The main themes in my work are the effect of time and memories. I use photography as both primary and secondary medium, as a way of illuminating an idea as well as defining it. Some of the photographs in the mixed media work are designed to be less stable. These have been treated so that over a period of years they behave like memories,  subtly changing either in colour or by fading.

“My regular visits to the sea I find inspiring, both for the evocation of childhood memories of Hastings in Sussex, and for the physicality and sheer power of the ocean.”
